Cooking tips
Preheat the dry pan over medium heat, then add a few drops of water. If the water forms beads that glide across the surface, the pan is ready. If it evaporates immediately, allow a little more time and test again. If the pan starts smoking, remove it from the heat and let it cool.
Wipe away all water before adding oil, then add your food. Adjust the heat as needed—high heat is rarely necessary. Allow food to brown before turning; it will usually release more easily once a crust forms.
Care instructions
-
Allow the pan to cool before washing. Avoid putting a hot pan into cold water, as sudden temperature changes can cause warping.
-
Wash with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
-
For stuck-on food, soak in warm, soapy water or gently simmer water in the pan before cleaning.
-
Remove stubborn marks with a non-abrasive cleaner suitable for stainless steel, following its directions.
-
Avoid steel wool, harsh abrasives and chlorine bleach.
Please note: The stainless steel handle can become hot during cooking. Use an oven glove or pot holder when needed.
