Clean your home or garden effortlessly with the Sasa Broom. This versatile broom, handcrafted from coconut leaves, is perfect for tackling any mess — whether inside or outside. Say goodbye to difficult sweeping and hello to a clean and tidy space!

Cultural Heritage

The Sasa Broom is a traditional handcrafted tool found in homes across Fiji and the Pacific Islands. Made from the dried midribs of coconut palm leaves, it has been used for generations to sweep outdoor areas, gardens, and village grounds. Owning a Sasa Broom is a small but meaningful connection to Pacific Island daily life and craftsmanship.

How to Use

  1. Hold the broom firmly near the base of the handle with both hands for best control.
  2. Use sweeping strokes away from your body to gather leaves, dirt, and debris.
  3. Ideal for outdoor use — driveways, patios, garden paths, and yard areas where a stiff natural bristle works best.
  4. For indoor use on hard floors, use lighter, shorter strokes to avoid scattering fine dust.
  5. Shake or tap the broom head against a hard surface after use to dislodge trapped debris.

Care & Storage

  • Store upright or hang by the handle to maintain the shape of the broom head.
  • Keep in a dry, sheltered area — prolonged exposure to rain can soften and shorten the lifespan of the natural fibres.
  • Shake out debris after each use to keep the bristles clean and effective.
  • If the broom head becomes misshapen, soak briefly in warm water and reshape, then allow to dry fully before use.
